Signet Technical department breaking away |

In 2010, Signet’s computer technical department will separate itself from Signet and start operating under the new company name of House of SOZ (Pty) Ltd. Signet will become exclusively Sage Pastel oriented. For now the two companies will share offices. Signet technical customers with block time remaining in the new year will simply be serviced through Signet using SOZ until the hours are used. Thereafter SOZ will offer customized Service Level Agreements to cater for individual company requirements. The owners of both companies will ensure that the two companies complement each other in the same manner as the two departments have over the years. While customers can still expect a one stop shop experience, payments for product and services in such cases will likely need to be made out to two different companies. SOZ will take over all hardware, consumable and non-Pastel related software sales. SOZ will provide traditional computing products and technical type services and support including those related to Netware, Windows and Linux systems. SOZ will also be introducing a host of new technologies and solutions including integrated security systems, virtualization and open source alternatives.
